very interesting note on the spamming

this morning i reported a thread which simply typed this in their post:

...then later the post was edited and had the normal TV show spam.
i just found it interesting that the spammer or spambot posted the thread title many times in the OP then later edited the post with TV spam.
(the edit was delayed -- there was a VB statement saying the post was edited by the author)

maybe this is typical and i've been discovering the spam just after the edits.

Appears to be the new way to spam, make a post and the edit it later. Whilst getting rid of spam posts I have often noted the poster is editing the posts adding the bad links in as the spam is being deleted.
