VERY old floor jack..................

found this in Thombstone, AZ today. i didn't buy it, it wouldn't fit in the Mustang, oh well !!

Wow that is a cool jack! I would have disasembled it using my teeth as screwdrivers if necessary to make it fit in the Mustang. You should have bought it!!!

Its a Old Weaver Mechanical Jack, There was 2 Major Manufacturers of Mechanical jacks, Walker and Weaver. Although they are very cool to watch and use they normally dont fetch much money from collectors.

what is "not much money", i mean would it be worth driving 400+ miles one way, buying it $125.00, driving back 400+ miles, and then getting it in "working" order. I sure wouldn't use it to pick my '56.........

I have a couple Walker designed that ive picked up over the years for scrap price, its really personal preference. Ive seen them sell on Ebay for $50 fairly regularly, Again.. They are cool garage pieces and Weaver still produces Hydraulic jacks but you will have to fabricate any pieces that are broken etc.
