Very wet pad.

I am getting ready to pour my concrete. The contractor came out this morning to put the garavels in. It is very wet and they are tracking up mud bad. Will this efect the concrete pour? Thanks in advance.

The gravel will sink if the ground is too wet. The dirt needs to be compacted, then add stone, then compact again in stages, et.

yep, gotta have a solid base to pour on. It can warp if it does sink under the weight of the concrete. Have them hold on if it's too wet.
