Vessel screwdriver models

What are the differences between the various 9x0 series Vessel "+" screwdriver models? I'm looking for a minimal automotive set of #0, 1, & 2 with as much of a cylindrical comfort grip handle as possible (no 'ergo' lumps, no ball handles, etc).

I've read some mixed comments about Hozan handles, but knowledgeable people here might be able to persuade me to buy them. Toptul calls their's 'phillips' so I'm guessing they're out of consideration.

Vessel screwdrivers are Japanese , I think Japanese standard which is different from Phillips head.

If you have a Miata or other Japanese car, they are very worthwhile.
Moss Motors sells the same set as well as the larger set.

Vessel Megadora screwdrivers are my go to. I've replaced most of my others with Megadoras in the standard (light blue-handled) and heavy (red-handled) grades.

They're comfortable, durable, and have well-machined tips. The + drivers (since apparently the old JIS standard isn't active any more) fit JIS and Phillips drives perfectly -- better than any Phillips driver.

Yes, they make the same drivers with a lot of handle variations. The Megadoras work just right for me.

My Hozan handles are just like my Thailand made Vessel drivers.

After years of having them, there is not much difference I see.

One thing that can be mentioned is that some of the tips do appear to be different even amongst the same # size.

Keep a JIS screw around and you can really see how well each one holds.

I haven't seen a P0 but the 900 teal handles are what I have in P1 P2 & P3. Also often overlooked is the $8 HF red & blue set which are also JIS (like the Vessels & Hozan) and are also very good drivers, with almost entirely cylindrical handles.

Thanks guys. We have an HF in town so I will go look there, but neither they nor the Hozan handles look to be 'cushion grip'. The + drivers will be for repairs to our 99 Japanese Camry and 11 Kentuckyese Corolla. Since so many people speak about how much they like Megadoras I'm thinking the Vessel "EU Spec." 910E P0 and 900E P1, P2, & P3 drivers should be what I need.

The JIS heads are still in use, though I will say that I sometimes use the Vessel drivers for Phillips screwheads as well as they're quite good drivers.

I find that P1, P2 and P3 are enough for working on my Japanese cars and bikes.

The impact nature of the Impacta has come in handy more than once when working on old bikes with very stuck screws.
