If you don't own any Veto bags, I suggest you don't buy one... Otherwise you'll be tempted to buy more! :ROFLMAO:

Have been wanting to buy a Tech LC for a while, as a compliment to my Tech XL, but have been waiting for the spring promo (going on now, for those who may not know). Luckily the free promo bag was the (new) TP-LC which worked perfect for me, though I wish it were ever so slightly bigger. I also picked up the CT-XL tote to lug parts/power tools/organizer boxes/wire spools/etc. onto the boats.

The Tech XL and Tech LC have basically the same exact tool kits, LC has a bit less stuff. The TP-LC is a very watered down kit (still a good amount of stuff, though) that will mainly be used for inspections/estimates and small jobs. The Tech LC will mainly be for the guy who works with me/guy I bought my business from to use when needed, we've ran into issues where he needs his own set of tools, and since I bought all his tools when I bought the business, figured I would put a backup kit together. The MB-MC I have setup as just a general toolkit for stuff around the house, nothing special there.

Anyway, since the 3 new bags just came in yesterday/today, figured I would get them all together for a 'family photo'. Seriously love these bags!

I noticed that after buying the Tech XL and TP5B
I have no need for any others but keep trying to justify another one with the spring promo.

Nice bags. Heck of an investment you got there.

Just in bags or the tools included? 😂 - Either way, yeah, I try not to think over the overall costs… Several grand in tools/bags/meters sitting there. Not to mention what’s in the service van and the shop all around. 😳

Buying the business has been great for my tool buying, so long as the bills are paid each month and building a bit of reserve, I don’t feel bad buying. At the end of the day, these tools are making us money, I might as well have what I need to get the job done efficiently… and, you know, the “tax write offs”

Thanks!

I've got a few myself, very nice bags. I've got the Tech LC as my main home tools bag, the Tech MC as my smaller travel tools bag, and the Tech XL for the large stuff.

I also have the backpack that I used as my work bag but I don't do that stuff anymore so it just sits.

I also have the older meter bags and pouches. They never quite worked for my line of work in telecom though. Some of their newer offerings look to have addressed my issues with them.

I find their bags seem to be built strong but are too heavy before you put any tools in. I had the backpack but kicked it to the curb. Most of the people I work with did the same. The other issue I have and its not only with Veto but just a common bucket boss type deal, either the tool compartments are to small and I only carry a drill when needed , so i dont need to have half the organizer to be a drill holder and itty bitty compartments for 100small bits. I tried differant type of bags but always wind up going back to the 5 gallon bucket. If i want to carry that drill up to a roof it can go right in the center and can put a grease gun there also.

Good looking setup you have there, if i could find a cheap or used version to build a junkyard bag i would. Would be nicer than carrying a 5 gallon bucket lol

Absolutely love my Veto bags. Wish they came with a light weight version; most of the time I need to use it, I'm traveling with it via checked in luggage. Then when I'm on site, I typically walk a few miles with lots of ladder and steep stairs. (Navy ships are big, shipyards are big, and parking is always far away)

I work on boats as well, privately owned stuff though, not navy ships lol. We focus on ‘marine systems (electrical/electronics, A/C & refrigeration, sanitation, and a bit of custom plastic parts). Have some ideas to expand the business in the next few years, as well, hopefully…

What do you do?

I work for an OEM that supplies our Navy (and allies) propulsion systems. Most of what I do is mechanical in nature - shipyard will provide the "big stuff" like chain falls, rigging, hytroq's, etc. My bag is mostly specialty tools and documentation.

Keep an eye on Facebook Marketplac. I bought the MB-MC for $60 used, which I thought was a heck of a deal. That was my first Veto, which I quickly realized was too small and wen't to the Tech XL.
