Vevor electric motors?

I'm looking for a cheap motor for a belt sander, and Vevor keeps popping up. Anything with a name brand is ridiculous expensive. Anyone tried these? Any good? It's for hobby use, so not a lot of heavy work. Even used motor s are pricey these days for anything good. Vevor is way cheaper than even Harbor Freight.

Are Vevor Tools and Machinery any Good? - a Toolguyd article from a few months ago. It's not the article but the comments that might be helpful.

I'm considering buying a mini metal lathe from them. The consensus seems to be that they're selling stuff from the same factories as many of the random Chinese letter companies - but might spec certain items to a slightly better finish. If you get a warranty, that's something too. I.e. don't expect name-brand quality for no name prices, but you might save a few bucks, be able to contact a genuine customer service portal and buy the best of the low quality items.

I should imagine that a Vevor motor would be pretty similar to any other no name Chinese motor that is available.

I just put a 1.5kp TEFC Vevor on my old cast iron craftsman saw, works mint so far.
Fist thing I ripped was red oak 2x6 and it did it without issue.

I put a 240v on a Delta sander. Works fine. The rotation was wired looking at the rear.
