With the lack of Harbor Freight in Alaska my only 'local' source of cheapo tools is a store that sells only VEVOR products. I could not find any continuous thread about their products so I would be interested to see the hits and misses. Bonus points if you know what product it is knocking off or white-labeling.

I have only purchased two products so far, a 50' air hose and a 3t three-bag air jack. I paid $109 for the jack and has been very nice to use, lifts smoothly and rapidly. Only issue is the valves are located at the unit so its a little scary putting my face near a 100 dollar air bag. I will be adding extension hoses and valves to get me a safe distance away.

It was particularly useful for jacking the transmission on a Subaru we were pulling an engine from.

Their propress tool has worked for my limited usage so far $600 vs $2500iah for milwaukee

I also have a high pressure air pump (for pcp air rifles) that is also working well, again for my limited usage.

Here is my recent Vevor purchase - a scissor-type hydraulic lift table. So far, a definite PASS. It works really well, the welds are better than usual, and steel material thickness/strength seems suitable for the weight rating. Super useful for lifting heavy items up and down from my work bench. I definitely recommend the "double-scissor" version which gives about 48" of lift height versus only about 34" for the single-scissor version.

The only downside was that it arrived in damaged condition. The box was punctured through on one side (I'm guessing a forklift strike), which must have pulled the top table upward, stretching a weld and bending the rail on one side (see picture below). After a lot of back and forth with their Customer Service department, I negotiated a $200 refund in lieu of sending it back, and it was pretty easy to fix after disassembling and basically just whacking everything back straight with a sledge hammer. So, it ended up being fairly inexpensive.

Battery charger - FAIL

Crashed several times using for maintenance and fried (overcharged) my backhoe battery, not knowing what "automatic" means. Plus the display is impossible to read in any sunlight.

Weather station - PASS

This thing is awesome and I paid about $67 for it, actually buying it under a different "brand name" on Aliexpress.

picked up one of these last fall. works well. i don't think it holds 58 gallons and i wish it had some sort of molded in tie downs but for the price i sure can't complain. i have the version rated for gas and diesel but they look identical.

I was looking at that today, we need something like that on an ATV trailer for filling camp generators and heaters. Pump seems to work well?

They're probably still figuring out the ridiculousness that is the gallon, or their Google search for a conversion gave them the UK gallon 😂

nice try but i believe it to be more like it holds 58 gallons of air. there is some dead air space that can't be filled. much like the 100 gallon tank on my kenworth that has a ring under the fill cap preventing over fill and the tag says fill to only 95%..

yes it does. it was on sale for about 100 bucks less then and i consider that an excellent value. it has pockets for pallet forks, an in-tank screen, spin on filter and automatic nozzle. it says it is rated for 10gpm but that seems conservative to me. it comes with a fairly long cord but i put a plug on it that matches my semi-permanent steel tank in my service pickup and then spliced about 10 feet on the clips with a matching plug. it can then be used in addition to that tank with the plug or reach from the very back of the box to the battery of my crew cab pickup.

i have filled and emptied it with diesel several times but not with a meter. i filled it with gasoline in town at the pump but that was a few months back. seems to me it was in that 55 or 56 gallon range.

That's pretty darn close but either way, short of stated capacity.

I recently installed a 2hp electric motor on my table saw. It replaced a 30yr old 1-1/2hp “Tawain” brand motor so I figured I’d better replace it with another cheap off brand lol.

So far so good. It’s got a few hundred starts and many hours of run time and all is well.

I have a 1” air impact that’s been an incredible tool for the $120 I paid for it. Put out close to 2,000ft/lbs as checked with a fat guy on a pipe not being able to get it to go tighter. Very sciency we are around here.

I also have a couple air hose reels, various other smaller things and I have yet to get something that was a piece of ****. I dunno. It seems like decent stuff for what I have so far.

I have the 330lb version. Great cart and I use it all the time. I started out pulling the lift arm out because it hung out to far in the spot I stored it. I ended up shortening the pump arm about 6" so it no longer sticks out past the handle. Also added rollers for tire changes/rotations.

I've gotten a few electrical enclosures from them. 12X12X6 to 24X24X6. Hinge cover, gasketed, rated for outdoor use.

They are every bit as good as Hoffman or any other big-name brand.

Only bad thing is the latches have a special key and I don't think you can get them with anything else.

Bought this fluid extractor a while back (you can use your compressor or the manual pump) and it works great.

I've got a couple Vevor things and never had much of a problem.

Just bought a couple of these tall under hoist/lift stands. They look the same as what a bunch of others sell so probably from the same chinese factory. I wouldn't trust them for the weight load they list but for my use they're fine.

They look almost identical to the HF version, which I have. I use them to stabilize longer vehicles on my 2-post lift and they work well. I never even considered the weight rating as I'm likely at less than 15-20% of what they advertise.

That's why I bought them too.
I saw more then half a dozen different brands of them that looked identical other then being different colors.

I bought a bench mount buffer. It was a good price, runs smoothly and has good power when digging in to a piece. I used it when buffing and restoring auto trim work. PASS

I’ve got a few Vevor things. I’ve had their welding table for a couple years. Same as the Titanium from HF aside from the accessories and has worked well for me.

I also just got one of the inflatable jacks and really like it. Its great for my garden tractor as well as vehicles.

Convinced the prop management company I work for to spend the $1000 for the Vevor Pro Press (1/2" - 2" jaws). We have about 50 presses on it using blue fin fittings. Works great. Have yet to charge the batteries.

Vevor 5-6inch orbit sander 350W - Pass

Not a big woodworker but built a cabinet and needed to prep it for paint. Didn't want to spend the money for a Mirka/Festool sander and when a basic dewalt palm sander is like $100, thought why not try the Vevor unit at $130. No complaints for the one project I used it on, dust extraction was good, palm area didn't heat up, vibration was normal.

I bought a 16x20 hinged door enclosure with a removable internal backplate and it is top tier. It also uses the round key for the door lock. I worked with industrial items all my career and I was impressed with it’s construction and finish. Grade A.

My only experience with Vevor is I bought their $250 ATV dump trailer last year and it's actually pretty damn good quality for the price. The lower tier Bosski trailers, which are very, very nice, are up to $1100 now. The Vevor dump trailer is a Huge Pass as far as I'm concerned.

I bought their tractor 3 point quick hitch. The metal they used for the frame was roughly 1/16" thick at most. It was rated a category 1 but it was so flimsy I would never trust it to hold anything. Besides that, it didn't fit, the openings where the 3 point arms go through were too small and had to be pried apart to fit over the ball ends. I bought it off marketplace, new/unused, and I could see why. I had never heard of Vevor before this, and didn't know the brand to search for reviews before buying.

I still have it in my scrap metal pile, it might work ok for a lawn mower sized tractor, but nothing bigger. It put such a bad taste in my mouth that I never even consider any Vevor products.
