Trying to figure out what VFD I should get for my lathe motor. Its a 220v 3 phase 3/4HP unit.

I have at my disposal a standard 110v wall plug or a 220v dedicated plug.

All things being equal is a 220v powered VFD better than a 110v VFD? Or doesn't it matter since 220v 3 phase comes out the other end on both?

One from TECO will run $120-130 with the speed knob on the face of it.

If you are going to put it in an enclosure you can get the model without the speed knob for around $117 and wire in a remote pot

I know you posted a very direct question, but have you read the threads pertaining to a treadmill motor conversion?
