I found a pair of Vise Grips marked MADE IN USA on the packaging today at sears. Package date one is 2005 on the back and the other is 2007. They both have the pin instead of the rivet in the handle...
The 2005 has marked MADE IN USA ...
The 2007 has marked MADE IN USA from Global Components...
What is strange is that both are marked as 10R 10"/250mm but they are two different designs with different jaw lengths. They are marked Irwin but are vastly different from each other. The 2007 version has much crisper Vise Grip markings, the 2005 version is a slight bit fuzzy or perhaps worn look...
Are these any good? I still have them in the original packaging so I can return them if they are junk... They were the only 2 marked made in USA in the rack. The rest was all Chinese with the rivet in the handle instead of the pin...
