I need 3 pairs for my vices, and it is really hard to find all but a couple common sets of jaws (different than mine). Even for a Wilton, seems like only the 6" are available and priced more than I paid for all my vices combined (I bought used).

I've tried machinery supply houses, Grainger, eBay, etc. No joy for 3.5" and 4" Craftsman or Wilton.

Same here. I have a craftsman I need to repair. I might have to have mine made.

All of them seem to have flattened jaws, tho... exactly where I'm at. I figured jaws would be easy to get and "maybe" $15 a pair... Quite an education!

Can any of you tell what brand it is by looking at it?

Thanks for all the help so far!

Craftsman vises have the model number on a ring at the handle, and the brand name cast into the body of the vise.

you get what you pay for. I got a perntiss no 52 for free that needed a lot of work Ordered a set of jaw from www.benchvisejaws.com. Ive got about $100 bucks in the rebuild (jaws, bushings, locking collar etc.) and it will now out live me.
Tool steel aint cheap. having it machined and then hardened aint free. I'm all about saving money. If you find a better way to get jaws let us all know.

I have an old Morgan and just called the 800# I found on the net and ordered up a new set. Wasn't pocket change but they sure fit nice.

Those don't look that bad. Use a flat file to clean up the edges and a triangular file to remake the grooves. You don't want your vise leaving too many marks on your projects anyway, just enough to hold things in place.

My 2 cents.
