Vice restoring

Hi
this is my first post in a forum ever.
Maybe there is already some discussions going on in the forum about it i don't know. Anyhow i'd like to know how to restore a old Record Vice i just bought. Get it on raw steel and paint it back in blue like the original.

Advices, tricks , products to use ?

Welcome to the forum. I would first suggest that you you spend some time reading the forum and all the different subforums. There you will find a general tool forum and ask your tool questions there. Also learn the search function and use terms like restore, vise, and vice. to pull up old threads. There are a lot of vise threads here, and some vice threads. There is the american spelling and the British spelling and both show up here.
