Vice worth saving?

I picked this up when cleaning out my old mans shop. Thought it might be cool to strip the paint and restore. Or am I out to lunch?

That alltrade is full of bondo, missing some parts and looks bad sitting next to your Mustang. The Wilton just needs a good cleaning.

China will come up in the conversation.
Until you break it it's a fine thing to own.
Just as any other vise of any quality.

If I had to have an outside, versatile, easy to use and manipulate, that alltrade is the vise to have.

The alltrade was in the shop when i bought the house. Sorry it wasn't the point of this post.

Hot both with some cleaner and a little scrubbing.
Put both to work

I have two like the alltrade vise you have and use the hell out of them, and I guess abuse them.
Both were free to me so I feel I have not her to loose.

Use them both....
