Hey gang, quick question. Just getting started out with a small oxy set up. I went and bought the Lincoln port a torch from Lowes today. Looks like a very high quality unit. All the gas equipment is made by Harris. It comes with a 0 tip and cutting tip. I would like to purchase a rosebud and maybe some bigger welding tips. Will Victor tips work on Harris torches? I looked here and online, but couldnt find anything concrete.
TIA

I have already did all the research on this one:headscrat. Victor style is much more common and the HF tips as well as the Northern tool tips will fit the victor 100 series set ups. It seems that the clones tend to copy Victor way More then Harris.

Even though mine was given to me minus tips and had to hunt down tips, I would still go with Victor if i had a choice between the two:)

We use to have a victor torch at the shop, but we got a nice harris now. I prefer the harris tips. Check your local welding shop for a bigger selection.

Yes I'm aware that the HF is same as Victor. I ***-um-ed that the Lincoln would have that. But opened the box, and looked at everything and saw Harris. Well I have to get the tanks filled tomorrow anyway, so I'll see what they have as far as Harris. Like I said they look good, great feel to the torch. Then I get to start to start practicing. Last time I touched was in high school. back in 87.
Forgot to mention, the regulators are going to drive me nuts. The oxygen tank has a regular valve handle and the fuel tank has a small wrench to open the valve. But both have regular knobs for the adjusting the flow. So I tied the wrench to the regulator with some SS wire I had left over. May try to find a different one.
thanks again

If it's the small B tank I beleive they all have that small wrench...at least all the ones I've seen/gone through.
