Great machine for the price. (Has the SL60 head) I am sure this is significant.
Only been using it with 220 so far.
2.5 hp compressor 21gal, 108psi ...adequate for
a 24" cut on 5/16 .. straight edge..
Generally I cut 1/8 and 3/16
No problems.

Depends what you are doing with it, and how you set it up. The SL-40 has some very nice advantages too.. It's a little bit over matched if not used correctly on the Cutmaster 42. 120 volt use on the the 42 it's perfect. Lowest air use you will find, other then the 15 amp 15c built in compressor model.
