I just picked up a Victor H315FC handle, (what I think is a) 315 handle, a CA2450 cutting attachment, a CA1050 cutting attachment, and an SR460A acetylene regulator. I have a few questions:

What is the difference between the CA1050 and the CA2450? How do these compare to the CA2460, which seems to be the current heavy duty cutting attachment?

What should I do to verify that the torch handle, cutting attachment, and regulator are in good working order?

On the H315FC, are the flashback arrestor/check valves replaceable? Do they need to be replaced at certain intervals, or how do I know if they need to be replaced? What item do they need to be replaced with?

The CA2450 seems to have some teflon tape for something sticking out from a fitting on one of the tubes, is that ok? Here is a link to a picture:
Thanks in advance, I wasn't able to find hardly any information on the cutting attachments online.

Hello S79! I hope all is well with you and all of your loved ones.

I responded to this thread, but I do not know how to link it so I am doing it this way. I hope it works.

There is also some good guys that show and explain rebuilds on Victor & other mfgs. on YouTube too.

You might try this company they are very good with customer service, support, and knowledge. They will be able to tell you some of the differences on your gauges too.

I replied on post #3.

This is the company and they young lady was quite knowledgeable.

I hope that this helps.

Be well and stay safe out there. Best wishes to you and all of your loved ones always!
