I found this Vidmar cabinet for sale.

They're asking $700 and it appears to be in new condition.

Has anyone ever seen these drawer latches on a Vidmar before?

I couldn't find anything on them. They don't look like the standard ones.

Would like to see the inside of the drawer & how the lever works.
Just bought my first Vidmar last week & would like to add the "only one drawer open" feature.
Apparently that feature is a factory only item as the drawer front gets a clearance notch.
59x30x27.75, 9 drawers converted to 13, from a BMW dealership @ SanFrancisco Bay Area C/L.
Thanks
J

Have 9 Vidmars, a couple came with the one drawer open option. Personally it is a royal pain in the ***, slowing down my quick access to multiple draws, open and closing draws quickly searching for items. Without the feature you get used to not opening more than a couple drawers at once. It really does slow you down as each drawer must be fully closed before another is opened, slightly ajar (which is common on closing a drawer) and you have to stop and check, also when the drawers close, other drawers come ajar, royal pain. If you have kids around it might be a good idea, but you can also attach the cabinet to the wall. You could possibly purchase the present one drawer option hardware from Vidmar, but it would not be cheap even if the option can be purchased for your Vidmar model.

The earlier version req'd a modification to the drawer (from Vidmar catalog info), & was described as a custom order only feature.
I suspect the same from this style even though the mod appears to be a hole rather than a rabbet.
My unit is from 2007. 13 drawers @ 400lb capy each , I am definitely bolting to the floor but would still be more comfy w\ the 1 drawer
open feature.Actually , if I was shuffling things around I could see it being in the way.

Yes it would help, it about 5th on the must do list, after my my new heat system, but one 13 drawer unit is no comparison to (8) 12 drawer units. What I could really use is a photographic memory and a clone of myself.
I have none of my units bolted down (have no kids) but I do have a couple blocks of steel (45lbs each) in the bottom of the cabinets, and the cabinets tilting back a couple degrees.
