View First Unread

How to make this the default option?

I like this feature, but it should be automatic and not have to click on it after opening the thread. Rather the converse ("view all thread") should be click on.

For a never viewed previously thread, then Post 1 is first unread. Certainly the cookies that are set can keep track of this; other forums do.

Instead of opening the thread by clicking on the title click on the blue arrow proceeding it.

Yep. That works a treat.

The blue arrow takes you to the most recent post, regardless if you have read to that point yet or not. Try it on a post you have never read and it takes you to the end.

The "view first unread" takes you to back to where you left off so you can continue from that point.
