viewing pics in thread has changed?

I've noticed recently that the thumbnails in a post are coming up individually. It used to be that you could go forwards and backwards on a group of pics, but not anymore. It's a little extra clicking that is irritating when I'm used to something quicker. Has something changed on GJ or is it on my end? I'm using FF Quantum 64.0, Privacy badger, ABP, HTTPS Everywhere, and LibreJS.

I'm not seeing that. Have you tried different threads? Can you link the thread (s) you're seeing this in?

The first set of 6 pics in this thread shows the pics in an individual new tab on firefox. One pic in each new tab.

Those seem to work normal for me with the next/previous buttons. Advance and blow up if double clicked with normal(for me) speed. I do know that if I right click on a thumbnail that open in a new tab is one of the options. Does your browser have a default/option to open new links in a new tab that somehow got toggled?

I'd be happy if I could just post pictures, half of mine show up as an icon you have to click on to open the image- .jpg .png; doesn't matter...

Working normal for me also.

By chance do you have an older mouse that night be "double clicking" when you click it ?

Today I noticed that pics are showing "normally" again. I don't know what changed.
