Well... sort of.
Hi all,
My name is Alf (yea, get your jokes out, but make sure they are new as I`ve heard all the old ones
) and I am a caroholic. Its been 3 years since my last confession...
Norwegian living in Skaun, Norway. Thats here.
I recently became a home owner and I am the proud (not to mention frustrated, annoyed and more often than not: broke) owner of 10 cars and a motorcycle. More to follow on the vehicles later I hope.
Since this is a garage journal I guess I should mention that at present, I have what resembles a 3 car shed/car port, and half the foundation of a 90 year old barn as my starting point. To make it even more interesting, the car port is constructed - I use the term lightly - by a guy who seem to have 10 thumbs, all apparently placed in the middle of his palm... Fortunately, I have lots of space to build a new garage and thats what I intend to do over the next few years.
However, the house will also need some TLC as that too is 90 years old, so it will be my main priority to begin with. I suspect that I will be browsing the forum more than writing here in the near future, but I will be more active when I can start my own garage building. Lots of great inspiration here, and I must say I`ve already found some really cool solutions and garage concepts.
So thats that for now about me, thanks for creating this forum and letting all sorts of people in
Cheers,
Alf
