Don't know if this has been posted yet but came across this video. They say they should be available in 3 months.

The satin finish looks amazing.

Pricing per VIM's website:
VIM DDF100 ($262.22)
VIM DFXL100 ($331.11)
VIM DFXL119 (19mm sold separately) ($86.67)

I’d love the DFXL100 and DFXL119 but there’s literally a 0% chance I buy them at that price.

The XL’s skip 9, 11, 15, 16, 18, and 19 is sold separately. No option for 21, 22, 24, 27, etc.
It also wouldnt have hurt to make the size stamp bigger.

It would have been my preference to have a complete set the length of the shorter ones but with a reversible ratcheting flex box on one side and a fixed half-proud box on the other, perhaps slightly offset.

Jeez I love VIM tools, and those do look sweet, but for that kind of $ I don't love them that much. Let's all hope the street price is significantly lower than suggested retail.

The first thing VIM needs to do is get different peeps to do their videos. :wtf:

I think VIM might saw how often people recommend their tools and have adjusted their retail prices accordingly.

As for their new wrenches, The XL set needs to run 10-19 mm no skips. Skipping 15 and 18mm is just stupid in the US market. They should also offer 21, 22, and 24 sizes separately since they are so expensive.

The double ratcheting standard length wrench set has promise but, I really think they missed the boat by again not offering the set with the same size on both ends. One side being a fixed boxed end and the other being a flex head ratcheting boxed end. They could source these from Infar and I think they would sell well.

Hopefully ebay and JBTOOLs will have better pricing and free shipping.

Do you know which brand(s) currently do source those? Those look really nice.

VIM Tools, family owned with reasonably priced tools.
I like to support the little guy, instead of the larger Corporations, when I can.
