VIM Tools smoking hot deal on nut drivers and other stuff

I just received my Vim Tools nut driver sets in both SAE and MM.

The set includes a two way screwdriver handle and a ratcheting handle, plus 3/8" and 1/4" drive adapters

Screwdrivers are on clearance for .66 cents to $1.13 each. Branded and sold as Mountain (?), they have steel strike caps and appear to be quite a bargain at the above prices.

Note - this stuff is on clearance and carries no warranty/exchange coverage.

I was a little hesitant to order given that, but at the prices listed, I took a chance.

The nut driver sets are the bomb. I will be selling my others after seeing these. Much more flexible and certainly a way to save space in the road box.

I'm not affiliated with Vim Tools, I'm just pretty happy about how this turned out for me and thought I would pass the deal on to GJ Members.

Are their nut-drivers hollow or solid? I'm unable to tell from the pictures on their site.

Thanks!

The air tool racks and magnet rails are suddenly affordable. Might get a couple of both, good time to do some early bday and christmas shopping.

Or I should read the hoarder thread and repeat the mantra "yes, but do you NEED it"

I wish they'd clearance their t-handle socket spinners.

Shipping looks kinda pricey, going to have to order a couple things to make it worth while.

Thanks for the heads up

Those spinners are the same as Blue Point. Fit and finish on them is superb

I have a set, one says Blue Point on the shaft, the others don't :dunno:

I like the convertible handle from "T" to "standard grip".

As for nut driver's, thier use is often light duty or the fasteners used on are of a low torque (otherwise it's ratchet and socket time), so I would not give a second thought to the warranty issue.

Looks like a nice set , but a bummer about no hollow shaft for long thread bolts.

Given the way they are made they will be solid, not hollow.

You won't be replacing an entire nut driver set: If it's the set I was looking at, it only goes down to 3/8. Of course if you don't use the smaller sizes...

Item purchase in this section will not be warranted by Vimtools or by the OEM. Being they are overstock or discontinued items.

Still good price though.

For what it's worth, those sets have been on their hot deals page for over 6 months. Their clearance page has been posted a number of times but for some reason not many people here have shown interest in the items listed.

Dubbydoo, I have their air tool holders but I don't have pictures at the moment. If you need one, they're great for the price. Very beefy. You have to use the pieces they send with it, they're just 1/4" NPT adapters with semi-spherical shape that fits into the holder. You continue to use your existing 1/4" plug, this piece goes between the tool and the plug you're using now.

browntown, note that the megnetic socket rails in their hot deals are not the Magrail TL. They're the older style, which are a lot taller. Still a good product, but the Magrail TL are much nicer IMHO.
