VIM tools USA made? Also Warranty?

I have purchased a VIM tools body hammer accessory for my air hammer its say USA made. How about the rest of there tools? I was looking at the hex and torx bit sets and was wondering. Also warranty how hard is it to get these things warrantied and how durable are they? Thanks For any advice.

Some are U.S. made, some are not. That being said, I have yet to use a VIM tool that was not not top quality. All of the major tool truck companies use VIM for certain tools, so I think that says it all about their tools.

I have never had to have any of my VIM tools replaced, but that is one of the same questions I had before I purchased my first tools from them. I was assured that it is not an issue from all of my suppliers. Hopefully I will never have to find out

I have a few VIM tools. Some are US, some are Taiwan. All are excellent quality IMO.

The only exception to the above is their low end screwdrivers. They are branded 'Mountain' and definitely chicom. They are better than many of the chicom screwdrivers I've seen, but they aren't a Wiha by any stretch of the imagination. They cost under $1, so I can't complain about it.

Fit and finish is flawless on all the VIM pieces I own, and I use them often.

I don't know about the warranty process as I've not had to use it.

I personally think for the price, some of their items are real sleepers. The hex sockets and socket drive T spinners are tough as nails. The T handle socket drive spinners I have (1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and hex drive) are all very very smooth and at least one of them has Blue Point etched on the shaft.

I don't know if they are an OEM for Blue Point, or they get some of their tools from the same OEM as Blue Point, but in any case, they are excellent and well worth the money spent.

I had a friend's worker broke a allen tee handle bit and just called them a the girl just sent a new blade they called it right out they are a really good company to dela with. I buy stuff from them and their dealers all the time real good stuff and a great value.

I have two VIM sockets sets, one triple square and one stubby metric hex sockets. Both are Taiwan made and excellent quality and as durable as anything I've seen. Their customer service is also excellent. I always try to buy USA made tools, but for the money and quality it's hard to beat VIM.

By count, I think most of VIM's tools are made in Taiwan. For the price, everything I own from VIM is excellent. They are the supplier for some things for the tool truck brands. They also make a few things that are unique; I like my MT1 trays, and I love the Magrail TL pieces.

I also like their half-cut Torx pieces (any of them) and their one-piece stubby impact hex bits (VM600, VI600). Basically, I've yet to be unhappy with the handful of things I have from VIM.

I've not had to send anything in for warranty and hence have no feedback on that front.

VIM or Durston manufacturing makes some great tools. They make all of Cornwell's hex and Torx bit sets and supply many accessory type tools such as trim tools, storage trays, etc. for the tool trucks. I don't know about their warranty procedure because, I've never broken any of their tools. It's better to have a well made tool that won't fail through normal use, than a lifetime supply of failed tools with an easy warranty.

^ I was wondering why cornwell hex sets are always so affordable on ebay. Frankly I've twisted enough mac and matco hex sockets, that I'm moving more to S.O.. Completely off topic, but lisle torx and hex sockets, although US made, are going in the garbage can. They ruined some transmission screws I was working on, and I had to drill several out.

I would go far enough to say the Vim bit sockets are the best on the market, I have never torn one up and some stuff has been killer tight.
