I have a VIM 6 point wrench that has a long offset hex handle that has the letter E stamped on it in a couple places. No size anywhere on the tool. I've tried to find info on the web but with no luck. Thanks in advance!
If you're looking for more info on Vim Tool Company, which is still in operation, in spirit, sort of, through Vimtools - Durston Manufacturing, check out this GJ member four.cycle thread, linked here.
I stated there wasn't a size stamped anywhere on the tool. Way too large of a wrench size to be a brake tool.

Perhaps if you took the time to measure the opening we would be able to make a more informed guess. Vim is a company sort of like a smaller version of K-D making specialty tools. They offer several distributor wrenches and drain plug wrenches as well as wrench holding racks, of which I have several. Your wrench could be used to access carb base nuts or other nuts located in restricted areas.

I am pretty sure the company only sent 4.c some excerpts pertinent to his find. I was referring you to that post for the company information/background. Prior to 4.c's find, I don't think GJ had any knowledge of the connection. If I were you, I would try the same thing 4.c did. A formal, respectful, even ingratiating query with photos and dimensions. They may help you out just the same. Thanks lugnutz, I looked over his Vim tool post prior to posting my request. Couldn't find a pic of a tool like the one I have.
