Vinatge Truth Socket Help Needed

Found these vintage Truth sockets but can't seem to find any reference to date. The odd thing is the size stamping is on the drive side of the socket. All have a rope style braiding around the top. Any help appreciated.

I'm also no help here. The rope style knurling looks like the early Craftsman stuff, doesn't it? It's a neat set though, whatever the vintage.

I was thinking the same about the knurl. Similar looking with that slant.

That's why I picked them up. Was think old Craftsman C series for sure. And could pass on them for under a buck a piece. Did snappy amke the sockets for Craftsman during the c series?

Well Craftsman is off the list. The banding is at a different hieggt and the socket broaching is much shallower in the Truth compared to the Craftsman.
