Vintage 7" grinder parts missing?

Want to install a wire wheel on one side of my new find. Wire wheel hits inside of grinder as it is in to far. Am I missing a large washer that moved wheel out? If so does someone have one I could purchase or where to buy one.

Don't know that you are missing parts if the original stones were centered and functional


Wire wheels are generally wider, with different thinner mounting flanges than stones.

Googling

grinder arbor flange washers

Will give you a selection of cheap stamped items, as well as others that look solid. Find a set that will get you what you need for that wire wheel.

I have decided to make a spacer.out of 2 3/8" round stock 3/8" thick with 5/8" hole to install on shaft first, then wire wheel then the original flange washer.
That should work. Thanks for your comments.
