Vintage (?) Bandsaw

I picked this bandsaw up cheap at the local scrapyard. It runs but needs cleaning & painting. Both tires came off the pulleys, assuming both pulleys had tires originally.


One of the faucet handle style knobs is missing.
I hope I don't get scolded AGAIN because my **** is not vintage enough. This saw is 35+ years old.

The wheels would have both had tires on them. I'm guessing a 70's/80's Asian import

Actually a tag reads mfd in 1986, made in Tiawan.

I much prefer Taiwanese over the newer Chinese ones. One good thing about bandsaws- they're easy and cheap to rebuild. Tires, maybe bearings, and blade guides.

Thanks. The '55 Studebaker is my daily driver. Dodge Dakota chassis, 4.3 Chevy V6 & automatic. Dakota swap got me power R&P steering, disc front brakes and nice high geared rear axle.
