Now that winter is here starting on a old 10" Black and Decker grinder. Have a few questions.
First. Is it worth pulling motor completely apart for sand blasting the housing ?
Bearings seem good and motor does work.
If so how do the inter wheel flanges come off.
2nd . Does need to be rewired as capacitor does not look good and no numbers on it. Some one has all ready been in wiring as they put switch for on and off on the neutral.
Hoping some one has one like this as name plate is really in rough shape. I think it's 1 1/2 h.p.
Missing one of tool tests but I think I can make one.
Any help with my project will be appreciated.
Bill
