I picked this up at the swap meet, Blue point Pat # 18556 and in nice condition. Any idea the range of vehicle it fits and how old?

It looks like its in the 1934 catalog at the earliest. It was a new design in 1934 could be allot newer but who knows really.

I used to use one of these on my '60 Dodge station wagon to do the rear brakes. So I'd say many years of Chrysler vehicles as a starting point.

It fits anything with tapered press fit hubs, which includes MANY cars over a very large time range.
It is used directly on small bolt circles and has a set of special legs not shown here to pull directly from the hub on early Fords because their large bolt circles could cause distortion if pulled directly. Forces involve in tapered fits were immense.
