Hi,

Don't know much about them, Alloy Artifacts says the "early sockets" had a useful cross hatch band on them. The set has a 19/32" size in it, and a 3/16" Whitworth (??), so I'm guessing they might date late 40's/50's???

All pieces are 12 point, good useable pieces, unless noted otherwise. Socket rail NOT included in sale.

Top group:

5/8" Swivel Socket
5/16"
3/8" to 1/4" adaptor
7/16" (1/4" drive socket)

On the rail, left to right:

3/16" Whitworth
3/8" (worn out)
1/2" (6 point, shows some wear, but useable)
9/16"
19/32"
5/8"
11/16" (6 point)
3/4"

Extensions:

5-1/2" (part #T606) has typical detent ball
5-1/2" (part #17-EP-2-6) has a detent pin like an impact socket extension?? Machining is different than the #T606)

$34.95, and I'll pay the shipping and paypal fees. (That's less than $2.50 apiece delivered.)

Thanks GJ.com!! :)

Mopar,
I am considering purchasing the lot. Before I commit, would you confirm if there are any date codes on any of the sockets or extensions? Do any of the sockets have CV in a circle? CV in a circle would indicate a chrome vanadium finish and production in the 20's or 30's.
If there are date codes that match up to the 30's or 40's, I will send payment immediately.

FYI, Here is a link to a bonney date code chart.

Thanks,
Anthony

Mopar,
I was just doing some additional research on Bonney. I suspect you may not find date codes on the Bonney sockets. I seems Bonney may have not put date codes on their sockets.

No matter. Consider me committed...I will purchase the lot. sending you a PM now to get your Paypal details.

Thanks,
Anthony
