Vintage Bumper Jack

Just picked this up for $20. No Handle. Seller says it goes up fine, but does not come down all he way. For $20 I will rebuild it. I plan to use it to lift my lawn mower.

WOW great find. I love bumper jacks, used my old roommate's quite a bit for doing all kinds of work on my pickups.

Under the layers of paint, you can make out:

AJAX
No. 77
Hydraulic Bumper Jack
3000 lbs.

EDIT: According to the internet, the repair kit number for that model is Ajax 5902.
