Vintage car jack

I have a few of those. I have the flat handles too.

I've got one like that. It also has a little flippy up thing that quickly adds a couple inches of height to the top. It's basically a block that sits on top of the jack, secured with a hinge.

I didn't think it was an automotive jack though, more construction or equipment.

Makes a great truck jack. That style indicates 20-40's and anyone's guess at the maker.

Got one of those myself for free maybe back in 1999......some one had placed it on the ground outside of the condo trash dumpster.....at least it wasn't IN the dumpster. I still have it, and it's a neat piece.

I have a handle somewhere. I believe it is sort of a flat piece of steel that folded for storage.

I have one of those style jacks - have used it a few times for different jobs. No handle though - just improvise with whats on hand.
