came in a box of tools, not sure of age or maker. Not sure what I'll do with it, too cool to toss.

I've got one like that. It also has a little flippy up thing that quickly adds a couple inches of height to the top. It's basically a block that sits on top of the jack, secured with a hinge.

I didn't think it was an automotive jack though, more construction or equipment.

Got one of those myself for free maybe back in 1999......some one had placed it on the ground outside of the condo trash dumpster.....at least it wasn't IN the dumpster. I still have it, and it's a neat piece.

if you have a picture of the proper handle please post. I probably have passed by a few at garage sales over the years.

I have one of those style jacks - have used it a few times for different jobs. No handle though - just improvise with whats on hand.
