Vintage Case SL2 Tamper Rammer (Jumping Jack)

So I picked up this Case Tamper Rammer for $50. It would run and idle, but not rev up. The diaphragm in the carb was shot. The machine has a Sachs 2 stroke motor on it, I'm assuming 32:1. Looks like it hadnt been touched in 20+ years. From what I could find its from the mid to late 80's. I have been trying hard to find the diaphragm or a carb kit for this machine, but I cant find it anywhere. I am hesitant to use a different carb because this has a real fancy air cleaner on the machine they took the time to design the way they did for a reason. The carb is pretty nice with brass parts you dont see too often anymore. Does anyone know where I can get parts for this? I am getting nothing. I have a feeling this thing will run forever if I can find parts. Its built like a tank.

I had a similar problem. After talking to the manufacturer I checked the local small engine shops. Found one that could supply a carb for half the cost of oem.

It is a Bing carburetor, worked on many of those vibromax compactors 70s through the 90s. If you still want any information on your machine you can email me. The carb is a special design to work under extreme vibration, I do have limited parts left.
