Vintage Caterpillar tools

Not quite vintage but I bought these from the local Cat dealer in the late 70's.

^ it's only "not quite" vintage because your birth year starts with "19".

This is the first "CAT" marked tool I've come across. All I did was wash the dust off of the original brown-oxide finish.

The 5S9566 T-handle and 8H8561 Oil Plug Socket (unmarked) belong together based on the catalog listing.

T-handle looks to be Proto made. Nice find!

That is alot of Cat tools to try to figure out what tool does what. To bad they have the rust coating on them.

For that money, the hydraulic pump and cylinders need to be included. Mostly those are adapter parts.

Found a doozey at a sale today. Fits CAT part number, doesn't look like it was even used, just stored damp! Lol. 2.5 inch opening, 23 inches long

Nice wrench! That is a CAT number . Clean up the open end and you may find the maker. Sometimes there are no maker marks. Could be Armstrong.
