If anyone has a vintage champion compressor and is in need of a sub box for it, I have an extra.

Came off of a 1937 SE30. (Almost same design as R30)

These appear to be used on 2 stage, 4cyl units for up until the later 70s/early 80s designs

The first stage finned intercooler lines all hook up to the box, then it runs to second stage then tank.

It has a safety valve and a 1/4 npt port for a drain. Seems to hold a decent amount of condensation, however I’m unsure if the box is completely hollow or if it has channels or what.

I blew a connecting rod on my compressor and kept anything that was still in really good condition.

Champion considers these boxes “obsolete” according to the manuals.

I think it’s a neat idea and a good way for the time it was made, to dump excess moisture.

Anyway, I’m making room in the garage, if anyone is doing a restoration or just wants a cool piece of history, this thing is SOLID cast-iron.

Make an offer.
I have no idea what shipping will be but would be willing to get it shipped if you’re paying lol.

Or if you’re in central FL, come pick it up.

Also meant to include that the standard champion compression fitting threads in and 6 will be included.
