Vintage Craftsman 18" Level - repair

Okay, I like tools and have a thing for old tools. When I saw this vintage level at the flea market for $1; you know the story. So it is missing two vial covers and a third is broke. Is there someone more familiar with tools of this era and know if this is a clone (maybe Stanley), if parts (lens & lens retainer) are available or if something will easily interchange. I could always cut a something that is a little stronger than plexiglass like lexan. Maybe someone has already been down this path and is willing to share their experience.

I like a challenge myself but I would recommend selling it for scrap and get your $1 back. Levels are not repairable tools in general.
