Anyone recognize this cabinet? I'm going to go look at/buy it tomorrow and would like to have an idea of what I'm looking at. Any idea on age, original price, quality? I'd really like to know if those are the original wheels.

Thanks!

It would help to mention the seller says: "This cabinet is 24" wide, 22 1/2" deep, and 35" tall" and he used it as a base for a radial arm saw.

i have a similar cabinet that came with my 1967 radial arm saw. craftsman changed their logos every couple of years, and yours is the same as the one on my saw. those aren't original wheels. what were you gonna use it for?

The tools stand cases were often 16 ga. vs the tool boxes, 20 ga. metal, so the chassis is likely better than a similar vintage box. The drawers will probably be 20 GA like the tool boxes. The slides are not likely to be as good as the tool box, but certainly worth checking out. I recently picked up a newer version of that one (which is probably 60's), but it only had 1 drawer. I wish it had been like that with three drawers.

As a tool box it's lacking a bit, but as a tool stand (say a bench top drill press, or a planer?) it would be a good one with say 3/4 plywood top added and locking wheels, (You don't want to be chasing it across the floor...)

Sounds like a good buy, especially at the listed price. I'll most likely repaint it and use it as a place holder until I get the big HF box that I want. Between this and my counter top box I should have enough space for all my hand tools.

I'll need to find some better wheels though. Any one have a pic of what this looked like in original shape?
