Came across an old craftsman compressor that I just couldn't pass up.
A little GoogleFu and I think it's from 1949.

Research tells me it puts out about 12 psi.
It runs beautifully.
When I get time I'll clean it up and use it to blow off the work bench.

Oh - and I got it for $20

Here is one I found at an estate sale in Berkeley on June 23rd. Mine is a little newer but the price was the same. Mine fired right up when I plugged it in and blew a little air.

These are really neat, but I have to echo Musicinabottle; what exactly can one do wit only 12 or so PSI? I don't see a tank so I'm assuming it's compressing constantly as it outputs?

Hello everyone, I’m brand new to garage journal & this is my first post. Today I picked up this vintage craftsman air compressor in amazing condition, seems to be all original but I’m no expert & when I google the model number nothing pops up, was wondering why f anyone on here knows anything about this model? What it’s worth etc. thanks.

Ahh, the Campbell Hausfeld Pressure Queen. There's a discussion in the "Vintage Air Compressors " thread right now about this unit. The contributor has one torn down and it's interesting to see.
Well... maybe only to me since I have a couple of the Pressure Princess compressors. ( My vote for one of the funniest model names ever.)
