Vintage Craftsman Pencil

I moved my 1970s Craftsman tool stand from storage to a more useful location. It was full of my old stuff--including this vintage carpenter's pencil that is painted to match.

Here is a closer look.

Now I can go old school with my projects and my 1970s pencil.

Not sure but the pencil was in my dad's first machinist box that I now have.
It was my grandpops box and he was already retired in the late 1970s
