Got this with some tools a while back and have no real use for it. I haven't bothered to clean it up at all, that's up to you! No idea what it's worth, maybe ten bucks plus shipping? Local buyers have first dibs so I don't have to ship it, but will if no one local responds.

Hey dude, You may not know this but that is one heck of a tool box! I buy and sell these all the time, and heres a sample of why there so great. They are perfect for hauling your road tools. The low profile of the box makes it perfect for sliding under your truck seat. They also fit well in the trunk and will not tip over when you take a corner quickly on the way to a yard sale where the sign said "lots of tools for sale".I recommend a good mild detergent cleaning, and leave the hammer finish gray patena paint, to remind us of:) that day when Craftsman tool boxes were made in the USA!http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

I have the exact same tool box in nearly the same condition. My belief on the logo dates it from late 60s to early 70s.
It is a solid box, not too heavy, yet sturdy enough to hold plenty of tools. It is my tool box of choice when going to the pull your part yard, as long as I'm not pulling an engine, rear end or ******.
I don't see many of them around, either. It's a keeper!!!!!!!

Wow, this post came back from the dead! I still have the box but late last year I got an old truck that I'm keeping it in for now. If I decide to sell it, I will contact those who sent messages. I might also be interested in a trade for an older one, appropriate to the 20's. :)
