Hi all, Newbie here, I have a dilemma whether to restore my Craftsman tool boxes or just leave them alone. I like patina, but I am not sure how rusty it can be to look acceptable. What I have is a matching set from 1949 (bottom 99CM 4360) and (top chest 99 C 04383) I am going to try and post pics, but I am not sure I know how. Also the top chest has the original carry tray and also they have there original locks, which I want to keep original, but no keys, and no code numbers on them. I talked with a couple locksmiths, the local one said the cylinders can't be taken apart because the are welded, and he couldn't make a key, and the other one said he has tons of keys he could try and do it, but could cost me $55 to $85 depending on whether they are keyed the same. Please let me know your thoughts, and I am happy to be apart of this forum. Thanks
