I am almost done restoreing / rebulding / refurbishing my craftsman atlas lathe but i can not find a split nut scroll.the part number on the parts is 9-38 but all i can find is 10d-38. Dose any body know if they are interchangeable ? the project is starting to come to the final stages <end> and i need this part.

I heard there was a guy that scraps these and sells parts on ebay. That looks like it could be braized up to me?

There is a lot of Craftsman lathe info on the web. I have a 109. Do a search for the model number and parts catalog. I found a parts listing for my 109 off e bay. There is a lot of Atlas/Craftsman stuff on there. Look up Craftsman and Atlas. You might also look for a metal working website a lot of people rebuild them. There's aslo a magazine called The Home Shop Machinest (I think that's the name.) I would assume the parts interchange from what I've seen.

Thanks for the help everybody i join the 618 group and got some help. I have been looking on ebay for parts. I found out that it is a 101.07380 and it the same one in the 1936 power tool catalog. Also if anybody out there wants to add your input is gladly accepted.
