Vintage craftsman

just inherited this from my grandfather. Old craftsman toolbox, supposedly from the 70's. Full old KAL-usa, proto, craftsman and Blackhawk tools. Black paint is from where a pissed off coworker dropped a load off a forklift on it and my granddad massaged it back into place. Anyone know any specifics just from looking at it? There's no plates or tags on it other than the craftsman emblem.

I believe it is a 1970's era box.
