Bottom pics as requested. I also measured the bar stock for you creative types.
I weigh 180 lbs and it has the perfect amount of give.





Wheels look like cast iron. They certainly wear like cast iron because you can't see any wear.

nice find. the design is great. i have the OldSchool MAC version of this type of roller seat which includes red painted metal and a maroon colored padded seat with 'MAC/Quality Tools' on it's top. the base shape/design and the fastener locations are identical to yours, as is the swing out seat mount.

That is a great find - I really like it. The the lettering on the seat is classic.
If one could replicate the patina of the seat - I think they would sell a lot of them.
