Vintage Delta Table Saw: Know anything about it?

I have this vintage Delta table saw and the Craftsman ball bearing motor to go with it. Does anyone recognize it? Can you tell me anything about it? Is this a "good" tool that you would list for sale to keep it in the hands of someone who could use it, or something you would just toss in a garage sale pile if you were looking to get rid of it? I'm not a woodworker so this is out of my area of expertise.

I don't think it's very desirable even when it has the miter gauge, and the fence. Maybe someone else will have a different idea. Some of the parts like the handles might be worth something on ebay as they might fit other tools from Delta.

Take more photos. Take some of the info plate. See if you can find the model number. The vintage machinery site might have info if you can get a model number.

That blade looks like it's on backwards, too. I think the teeth should point the other way, since that's where the crank is located.

I have a Delta 34-500 8" table saw, it looks the same. See if your saw looks to be the same model as in my photos. Serial #BL-4425 would have been built in their Tupelo factory in 1955.

Looks like a neat barn find. I'd be happy about. But I'm not familiar with it other than with the name. I've got a Delta Homecraft 11-120 and that would match it. I also would suggest to check out vintage machinery as another resource to research that saw. You may find it does have the features you need, or it might not. There is a market for the old iron machines, it's good to see them alive again. Least I think so.

Thanks, everyone. The only other markings besides the ID plate shown is 6 digits stamped into the underside of the table. Looks like a casting number, definitely not a model number.

I appreciate the help with the background, especially the production year and location. That makes sense as I believe it came from my grandfather's house in MS. Given it's condition, I don't think he was the original owner of it, though. He kept everything in much better condition.

I'm not a woodworker and don't really have a need for it. If it was something rare ore desirable, I'd offer it up to some folks who might appreciate it. But given what I've learned, I'm going to put it in a garage sale and hopefully someone can clean it up and get some use out of it.
