This is a super cool instructional tool from a driver training school in Germany. The model is from 1964. This would be great office or garage art.
This hung on the wall at the school and was used by the instructor to teach the students about the lights and signals. The unit plugs in to a wall socket and the lights are activated by flipping the switches. I have not tested the lights but all the wiring looks good. (You will need to get a transformer to make this work on US power.)
The individual lights, switches, fuse box, relays, etc. are all German made; Bosch, Hella, etc. The box is about 4" deep and 30" across and looks like birch plywood. The artwork on the front is hand painted. I don't think the car is meant to be any particular make, but it's a red convertible which is neat.
$750 shipped in the continental US. I can deliver the the OCTO VW show in June with prepayment.
