^^ That is missing the arm that locks the engine in position (hence the notches).

The positive locking feature is nice in itself, but then the large wing nut on the back tightens and prevents even further possibility of turning.

Darn it all! Now I want a K R Wilson engine stand with a flathead Ford with vintage speed equipment in my front living room! That would look so nice against the bamboo flooring we just put in.

I had to make a new head after someone borrowed mine. I have an extra heavy one also but this is the one I use. I had some extra stuff on it, also bracing but removed it.
Use it for all kinds of stuff. Thought I had ****** pics too.

I picked this KR Wilson stand up last summer from a local guy. I am pretty sure the original color was green and that finish is still largely intact. It didn't have a Ford motor adapter or parts tray but everything else is in really solid shape including original casters and jack screws. It's just set up like a traditional adjustable arm stand now. The trays and Ford replica heads for these are available in the aftermarket but I'm not sure I'll go that far. Ed.
