This is a sheet stuck inside the cover of the Kerry's catalogue mentioned above. The note includes the warning that some items in the catalogue may no longer be chromium-plated. This was due to shortages due to the Korean War.

Back in the '60s STIHL made a go kart motor from the 130cc 090 chain saw engine, and had some success racing it in EU.
This is a version of it on a kart in the museum at the STIHL factory in Virginia Beach:

I had the funny poem from the Owners Manual blown up and on the wall behind the kart. German on the left:

Soap Box Derby helmet from 1956

My brother's friend and classmate won the national Soapbox Derby this year.

Great fun to see all the old ads and catalogs. Looking at the Montgomery Wards tool catalogs, I have a Mongomery Wards Powr-Kraft 3/8" drive metric socket set from circa 1967 w/the Wright 'tootsie-roll' rubber handle ratchet, I asked for it for Christmas, w/a set of Powr-Kraft open-end wrenches too. I later added a set of 1/2" Powr-Kraft SAE sockets and a ratchet wrench set. I still have them both.



I have one of these awaiting its restoration.

Thanks for the big picture from the brochure.

The "brochure" is only a single A3 size sheet, folded in half. My printer/scanner is only A4 size so I had to use my 'phone to take a pic of the A3 sized Rickman Honda 750 picture - apologies for the poor image quality. Here is the entire "brochure" and the price list that accompanied it. (I had posted these pages some time ago).
