Hi guys,

After a lot off reading on these amazing pages I guess it's time to show you my garage.

Looks like a mess in comparison to the shops on this forum, but I like it anyway.

First are some pics how I bought it 2 years ago.
It's hidden behind the house and wasn't accessible by car anymore due to constant addition to the building

First thing I did was take down some off the creations they build between the house and the workshop. It was filled with totally unusable garbage! If you look at the 3rd picture in the first post you can see the tank they used to store diesel for heating the house and the very dangerous electric lines that were still in use!

1 pic: the house
2 pic: the garage
3 pic: taken from in between the garage and the workshop
4 pic: taken from the entrance off the workshop looking to the house

I then took out the old door because I couldn't enter with a car.
We used an old I-beam that layed inside the shop and som rectangulare irons I didn't need anymore from my storage racks.
The doors we used were also some old ones laying between the dirt.
I think they keep in theme with the old look off the building.

It's got a lot of character. I hope the old sign still works. It looks like you are into VWs.

Welcome mate.

Nice space you have.

I have a good friend who lives in Brussels, and he rents a basement somewhere in the city as his garage space.

I like the Garage sign on the building.

Hi - check out my garage thread - I think we have a few interests in common. Vw´s and westfalia trailers? And being Europeans of course.

Nice try, but that is german ;)
We speek dutch or french around here.
BTW, I live in Ninove 20kms from the capital.

Dutch or Flemish ?

I find that speaking Afrikaans, my mother tongue gets me what I need when in Belgium, though in Holland a guy once told me I had a strong accent when speaking Afrikaans, wich is rooted in Dutch. :)

When I bought the property lots off big machines were still inside.
They used to make fake marble called "granito" in the barn.
In the first picture you can see the big machine that was used to cut the stones.
It used 480V and was still in use, with very old and dangerous cables.
There was a note on the swith that said " Danger don't touch"
Second picture is the backside off the building half cleaned up.
