I have an old mechanical floor jack that was my Dad's. Can't find any name or markings on it. I've searched all over the internet and can't find anything that even resembles it. Would really appreciate any information to help identify it and what it's value might be. Thanks in advance.

They don't seem to bring much - there was one up FS locally for a long time at $50. Hang on to it, clean it up; who knows - maybe someday there'll be a world wide shortage of hydraulic fluid and you'll be sitting on gold.

Your jack was made by a company called Reliable. Maybe a No. 86 jack, hard to tell without a side view. The handle should have a cool curve to it, giving it a distinct look. It was rated at two tons. It came out when hydraulic jacks where becoming popular, and mechanical jacks were on the way out. In the day they sold for around $60.00, today they sell for what you can get. Again, anyone with a mechanical jack near Michigan that you can part with, let me know.
