While cleaning my 56 year old shop I found this neat thing. It is a fuel analyzer made in the USA by Algas. Our shop worked on lots of propane trucks and I assume we had this to check the fuel/air mixture.
To my knowledge this is the fist time I have seen this as it was hidden away in the back of an old workbench. Still looks new.
I think I would have remembered using this as I worked on many propane systems myself back in the 70's and 80's. Maybe my brother or dad bought this when I was in the military in the 1960's. They both passed away many years ago .
Not sure what I am going to do with it. I cannot find any information on the internet on this old tool.
